In MEGASTRUCTURE, Sarah Baltzinger and Isaiah Wilson present their relationship as a couple. The two artists curiously weave the trajectory of two bodies in constant cohabitation, whose movement forms strange and perilous associations. This choreographic duo is like a puzzle whose pieces are constantly taken apart, searched for,
tested, and reinvented. MEGASTRUCTURE offers a performance without music or set design, where the natural musicality is generated by the performers’ bodies on stage, in a compelling energy.
Sarah Baltzinger & Isaiah Wilson In 2022, Sarah Baltzinger and Isaiah Wilson began a shared artistic co-direction and committed themselves to developing several projects together. They created, in particular, the duet MEGASTRUCTURE, which met with significant success on the international scene.
In June 2023, they received several distinctions at the prestigious RIDCC (Rotterdam International Duet Choreographic Competition), including the XL Production Award, as well as four partner awards with Nederlands Dans Theater, Skånes Dansteater, Sally Dansgezelschap Maastricht, and MAAS Theater en Dans. The duo was subsequently selected for Aerowaves 2024 and is currently touring internationally.
